Bill and Ted are the titular stars of a movie franchise which began with 1989's Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and continued in 1991's Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, as well as a 1990 cartoon series, a 1992 live action TV series and Marvel's Bill and Ted's Excellent Comic in 1991. It features the adventures of metalhead slackers William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan, best friends who travel through time in a phone booth provided by their friend from the future, Rufus.
