The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is a series of comic books created by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill, which is widely known for the massive amount of crossovers it contains.

  • Sherlock Holmes Holmes' nemesis, Moriarty, is an antagonist in Volume I. Sherlock's brother, Mycroft, takes over as the League's government commander at the end of Volume I, and continues in this position in Volume II.
